The Golden Summit cable car is being upgraded 金顶索道升级改造公告

From 23 May 2026 the Golden Summit cable-car system is under a full upgrade (completion expected 2027). Golden-Summit area tickets and shuttle seats are capped at 8,000 per day. Book early and allow extra waiting time — we pre-arrange tickets for our guests.

2026年5月23日起金顶区域门票及观光车每日限量 8000 张，请提前规划预订，我司代为安排。

Altitude and fitness 海拔与体力

The Golden Summit is 3,079 m — higher than most alpine trails in Europe but walked slowly on paved paths; most visitors feel only mild breathlessness. Day 2 involves 3–4 h of walking on stairs. Bring a warm layer even in summer (summit is 10–15 °C cooler).

金顶海拔 3079 米，缓步慢行即可；半山步行约 3–4 小时，山顶较冷请备外套。

The famous Emei monkeys 关于峨眉灵猴

They are wild and bold: keep food out of sight, don't tease or touch them, and if one jumps onto you stay calm and don't hit it. Sightings are very likely but never guaranteed — the zone may be skipped if arrival runs late.

Bring your original passport (used for park tickets and hotel check-in). Minors must travel with a guardian; guests aged 70–75 join with a signed health waiver; shared groups cannot host guests over 75 or travellers with serious heart/lung conditions — ask us about a private car alternative.
